THE ROLE
As the Financial Reporting Partner (S&R), you will be responsible for leading the institution’s statutory financial reporting, regulatory submissions, and compliance with UK accounting standards, HE & FE sector requirements, and relevant legislation.
You will ensure that the University, its Further Education division, and its subsidiary companies produce accurate, timely, and compliant annual financial statements and returns.
You will provide technical accounting leadership across the organisation and act as a key liaison with external auditors, regulators, and internal stakeholders.
Given the complexity of a commercial university with multiple income streams, regulatory frameworks and several small limited companies, this post will ensure as an organisation we maintain clear accountability for compliance, external reporting and technical standards.
