We’re offering an exciting opportunity to join our People Operations team on a fixed-term basis until September 2026, supporting a range of key HR projects.
This is a busy time for our team, so we’re looking for adaptable individuals who are comfortable working across different areas as needed. If you enjoy variety, teamwork, and making a positive impact, this role could be a great fit.
As a People Operations Assistant you can expect to be involved in:
Provide administrative support to key HR projects.
Personally deal with straightforward HR enquiries, applying confidentiality, tact and discretion where necessary.
Develop and build knowledge of all University conditions of service, contractual entitlements, and processes.
Update and maintain the HR and Payroll system (ResourceLink).
What will you bring to the role?
Educated to A-level with GCSEs in English and Maths at Grade C or above (or equivalent)
Experience in an office environment
Good IT skills with the ability to use MS Office applications; particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
