We are seeking a Research Assistant to support a PBIAA/UKRI-funded feasibility study on organic waste management in Park Royal’s Food & Drink sector.
Duties:
Review relevant policy, legislation and targets; and support surveys, interviews and site visits.
Collect, clean and analyse qualitative and quantitative data on segregation, storage, collection and onward routing.
Contribute to evidence-based recommendations, a prioritised action roadmap, and reporting outputs, handling data ethically and confidentially.
Requirements:
A relevant degree (e.g. environmental/chemical/civil engineering).
Applied research experience in sustainability/circular economy/waste.
Experience with surveys/interviews and site-based data collection.
Experience of applied research and data analysis (including surveys and/or interviews), and strong Excel/data management skills.
Clear written and verbal communication skills, and confidence engaging stakeholders professionally and handling sensitive information.
Ability to work on your own initiative, plan site visits, meet deadlines, and travel to Park Royal (West London).
