Salary: Competitive starting salary range from £35,574.00 up to £40,439.00 per annum (dependent upon experience) with the potential to progress. A discretionary range for candidates with exceptional experience can be discussed/considered.

Coventry University's Doctoral and Researcher College brings together staff and expertise to deliver centralised support for doctoral education and a comprehensive (PhD to Professor) programme of development and training for researchers. Consisting of key areas which support the development of research degrees and Postgraduate Researchers and their supervisors from application through to award, it comprises :
Research Admissions Team;
Postgraduate Researcher Lifecycle;
International Research Degree Partnerships;
Researcher Development;
PGR Studentships and Projects.
The Role
Based in the International Research Degree Partnerships team, this role works across the Doctoral and Researcher College, Research Centres, and a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to advise on regulatory, programme and policy matters, ensuring consistent approaches to an expanding portfolio of international doctoral programmes. Activity aligns with the University’s strategic priorities for international growth under the Research Strategy 2030.
The post’s primary focus is the effective administration of new and existing international research degree programmes, partnerships and related activities. This includes providing administrative support for developing and implementing cotutelles, dual awards, Visiting Researcher schemes and tailored doctoral programmes with overseas partners across universities, industry and government ministries.
Our Successful Candidate
The successful candidate will demonstrate significant experience in a partnership development role, preferably in higher education.
You will be required to maintain a thorough understanding of the priorities of the College, and the University’s global research partnership strategy as well as having an awareness of regulatory requirements for doctoral degrees, and changes in policy and practice in the national and international context. Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to coordinate and complex activities are therefore essential for this role.
The post requires the ability to work with a high level of autonomy and may require occasional overseas travel
