Join us at a pivotal moment in the evolution of our digital landscape. IT Services is made up of two forward thinking teams, Digital Services and IT Operations, working together to support, enhance, and transform the University’s digital and physical environments.
We’re now seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer (Data) to lead our Data Team and help drive innovation across the institution.
About the Role
This is an exciting leadership opportunity within Digital Services, where you’ll take ownership of developing, maintaining, and delivering high‑quality data products and integrations that meet the evolving needs of our University community.
In this role, you will:
Lead and mentor the Data Team, becoming a trusted source of technical expertise.
Work across both on premise and cloud based systems, ensuring the University’sdata infrastructure is robust, efficient, and future‑ready.
Build and enhance data pipelines, integrations, and APIs, using modern tools and best practices to deliver reliable, high value solutions.
Collaborate across IT Services and the wider University, shaping data-driven decision‑making and innovation.
