investigate how abnormal electrophysiological brain activities contributes to gait difficulties and sleep disorders in Parkinson’s disease;
use invasive and non-invasive brain stimulation to probe the causal relationship between neural network dynamics and behaviour;
leverage these insights to pioneer closed-loop approaches to therapeutic brain stimulation for better treatment of gait difficulties and sleep disorders in Parkinson’s disease.
