About the role
The University of Bath is seeking a Head of Residential Operations to lead the delivery of residential services across the University’s accommodation portfolio. This role combines operational management with long-term planning, ensuring services run efficiently, safely, and to standard.
You will be responsible for:
Managing multi-site residential operations & teams.
Overseeing budgets, contracts, & supplier performance.
Using data and performance metrics to improve services.
Ensuring compliance with health, safety, & quality standards.
Working with internal and external stakeholders to maintain service delivery.
This role plays a key part in providing a safe & well-managed residential environment that supports student wellbeing & academic success.
About You
We are looking for someone with experience in residential, hospitality, or facilities management who can lead teams and manage complex operations. You will have:
Experience managing multi-site operations and budgets.
Ability to use data to monitor performance and make decisions.
Skills in managing teams and supporting managers.
Experience working with stakeholders to deliver operational goals.
A professional approach to creating an inclusive and respectful environment.
You will be practical, organised, and capable of balancing operational delivery with planning and oversight.

This role is offered on a full-time, permanent basis (36.5 hours per week).
