They each provide essential and valuable support to both each other and the Academic departments, helping the University to function in the most efficient and productive way, ensuring that the students’ experience is second to none.
About the role
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Personal Assistant to provide high-level administrative, organisational and coordination support to the Vice-Chancellor’s office. This is a pivotal role, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of day-to-day activities.
The Personal Assistant will play a key part in managing priorities, streamlining communications and enabling focus on strategic responsibilities.
The role requires discretion, excellent judgement and the ability to anticipate needs in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary point of contact for the Chief Administrative Officer & Registrar, and the Chief Academic Officer, managing communications and correspondence with internal and external stakeholders
Manage complex and dynamic diaries, scheduling meetings and coordinating appointments across multiple priorities
Prepare briefing materials, agendas and documentation to support meetings and decision-making
Coordinate travel arrangements and logistics
Support the planning and organisation of key events and activities
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism at all times
Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance efficiency
