Opportunities are available on both a permanent and fixed-term (6 months) basis.
About the Role
Provide daily care and exercise for horses under the Equine Therapy Centre Manager's direction.
Assist in all learning, research, and commercial activities within the Centre.
Support veterinary surgeons and physiotherapists in delivering and monitoring rehabilitation programmes.
Manage case admissions and discharges.
Support the Equine Therapy Centre Assistant Manager in the organisation and delivery of out-patient appointments for water treadmill exercise.
Train and exercise horses on both high-speed and water treadmills for the purpose of teaching, tours and research.
About You
Experience with competition horses and high standards of care.
Competency in ground schooling and handling fresh/fit horses.
Strong communication, teamwork, and observational skills.
Interest in equine veterinary medicine/physiotherapy.
