About the role
The purpose of the role is to coordinate the running of Assessment operations, particularly around Fitness to Practice, Appeals and Academic Misconduct. The role holder is to perform all the of administrative duties associate with these areas such as setting up meetings (in-person, virtual and hybrid); drafting and distributing paperwork; minute taking and managing data whilst adhering to KCL policy and regulations. The post is required to support the operations of assessments sub boards, retrieving and entering marks as well as processing mitigating circumstances applications. The role holder will also be expected to support students and other stakeholders through the different processes whilst committing to sensitivity and confidentially.
The above list of responsibilities may not be exhaustive, and the post holder will be required to undertake such tasks and responsibilities as may reasonably be expected within the scope and grading of the post.
This is a full-time (Mat Cover), 1-year fixed term post (35 hours per week), and you will be offered a fixed term contract until 30th June 2027, or until substantive post holder returns.

Essential criteria
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent organisation and time management skills
Excellent customer service skills, and experience in dealing with customers under stressful circumstances
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and the ability to work on new systems
Methodical, detail oriented and flexible in a approach to work, maintaining a high level of accuracy
Ability to work with a broad range of stakeholders in a professional and assured manner
Proactive with the ability to work independently as well as delivering within a team in a flexible manner
Desirable criteria
Educated to degree level
Experience of using virtual learning environments
Experience in the use of databases, student records systems (such as SITS) and website content management systems)
