The Role We are looking for Registry Assistant to join the University’s central Academic Registry Services Team on a full-time basis, fixed term contract for maternity cover. This role will have specific responsibility for frontline customer services and supporting our Records and Awards teams.
The postholder will work closely to support the Assessment and Awards Officers to deliver all logistics and processes related to the issuance of formal certification and verification of student records. The ideal candidate will have experience in office based administration, alongside the ability to support and advise students, graduates and the public in relation to our records certification.
The key activities of the role are:
Delivering excellent customer service, including in-person support at our Registry enquiries window and online by Telephone, Teams and the Service Desk ticketing system
Providing excellent support to colleagues, whilst keeping student experience at the heart of our provision
Exhibiting robust problem-solving skills and a proactive professionalism

This role is for you if you can successfully organise and manage competing priorities, can use your professional judgement to help triage enquiries, and are confident handling and manipulating large data sets. A willingness to collaborate with colleagues is essential.
