To meet the needs of increased student numbers and to continue enhancing the quality of our training provision, we are expanding our teaching team. We are inviting applications for both Facilitator/Trainee Facilitator and Deputy Programme Leader roles on our successful MSc Integrative Psychotherapy Programme.

About the Roles

We are looking for practitioners who are passionate about psychotherapy education and committed to delivering high‑quality, ethical, research‑informed training.
Both roles involve contributing to the teaching, facilitation and support of psychotherapy trainees within a dynamic, collaborative teaching team.

Essential Requirements — Deputy Programme Leader

  • Qualification and professional registration as a psychotherapist (UKCP or equivalent).
  • Able to demonstrate proven competence and experience in a post-qualification clinical experience.
  • Qualification and experience as a clinical supervisor to at least Diploma level.
  • Experience of teaching or facilitating within psychotherapy training or higher education.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to humanistic, relational, and integrative values.
  • Commitment to inclusive practice and collaborative leadership.
  • Confidence to deputise for the Programme Leader and take initiative on delegated responsibilities.
  • Flexibility and willingness to respond to programme needs.

Essential Requirements — Facilitator

  • Professionally accredited psychotherapist
  • Registered with UKCP (or an equivalent professional body) with a proven record of experience (ideally 3 years+ or equivalent) 
  • A record of substantive post‑qualification supervisor level experience (ideally two years+ or equivalent)

Essential Requirements — Trainee Facilitator

  • Accredited psychotherapist with some supervision experience
  • Applicants may meet most but not all essential facilitator criteria
  • This is a supported development pathway leading to full Facilitator status following induction, training and assessment

Fees

Deputy Programme Leader 

Contract: 0.6 FTE (3 days per week)

Salary: £28,000 per annum (Full Time Equivalent £46,667)

Facilitator Rates

  • Hourly Rate: £34.65
  • Resource Development: £25.20
  • All Day Team/Facilitator Meeting: £173.25
  • Daily Workshop Facilitation Fee: £360

Trainee Facilitator Rates

  • Hourly Rate: £17.33
  • Resource Development: £12.60
  • All Day Team/Facilitator Meeting: £86.63
  • Daily Workshop Facilitation Fee: £180

Applicants for the Facilitator/Trainee Facilitator roles must have a business bank account for invoice submission as those posts are offered on a self‑employed basis. The Deputy Programme Leader role is offered on an employed basis.
