About the role:

Keep this to 2-3 sentences, listing the key points.  You don’t need to include all the details, just enough to encourage people to read the job description. This might include the context of the position or a headline statement about what the successful applicant will be doing/contributing towards.

The opening line needs to grab attention and include the job title (for Search Engine Optimisation). You could begin with a question to draw candidates in.

What you would be doing:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Clinical & Regulatory Project Coordinator to join a dynamic translational research programme focused on developing and implementing next-generation diagnostic technologies for infectious diseases in children.

The successful candidate will play a central role in supporting the translation of multiple innovative diagnostic platforms from early development through to real-world clinical evaluation. This includes contributing to the establishment of quality management systems, coordinating pilot and feasibility studies in the UK and internationally, and ensuring robust, traceable processes as technologies move toward implementation and scale-up.

This is a unique opportunity to work at the interface of clinical research, quality systems, and medical device development, within a multidisciplinary team spanning clinicians, engineers, global health researchers, and industry partners. The role will provide exposure to the full translational pathway — from laboratory innovation to deployment in real-world healthcare settings.

We are looking for a candidate with experience in clinical research coordination or translational project delivery who is excited by the challenge of helping to bring novel diagnostics into practice.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the development and implementation of quality management and documentation systems for emerging diagnostic technologies
  • Coordinating pilot and feasibility studies across UK and international clinical sites
  • Ensuring high-quality study documentation, governance, and data traceability
  • Working closely with academic, clinical, engineering, and manufacturing partners
  • Contributing to the progression of multiple diagnostic programmes toward clinical adoption and real-world impact

What we are looking for:

  • A background in life or health sciences
  • Experience supporting clinical or translational research projects
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • An interest in diagnostics, global health, or medical technologies

What we can offer you:

  • The opportunity to continue your career at a world-leading institution and be part of our mission to use science for humanity.
  • Benefit from a sector-leading salary and remuneration package (including 41 days’ annual leave and generous pension schemes).
  • Access to a range of workplace benefits including a flexible working policy from day one, generous family leave packages, on-site leisure facilities and cycle-to-work scheme.
  • Interest-free season ticket loan schemes for travel.
  • Be part of a diverse, inclusive and collaborative work culture with various staff networks and resources to support your personal and professional wellbeing.
