This post is full-time and is open-ended.

In this post, you will deliver teaching on the BSc degree programme in Computing Science offered jointly by the University of Glasgow (through the University of Glasgow Singapore (UGS) and Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT); to engage in scholarship in order to contribute to the advancement of the discipline and/or its teaching practice at course, degree programme, school, institution, profession and national levels; and, to undertake administrative and management tasks associated with University of Glasgow Singapore activities. The required areas of expertise for this position are: (1) Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning (2) Operating System (3) Programming. Additionally, knowledge of Software Engineering is desirable.

UGS is a subsidiary of the University of Glasgow that works in partnership with SIT. Its mission is to:

  • Deliver undergraduate Honours degree programmes to the same high standard as those of University of Glasgow in the UK for a high-quality education that quips students for a lifetime career as leaders in industry and commerce
  • Provide PhD and professional development training in support of industry in Singapore
  • Develop research and development collaboration with industry and other organisations in Singapore
  • Engage with the research community in Singapore and developing links with research groups on the Glasgow campus
  • Establish and promote its multidisciplinary research portfolio in an international context and fully engage with societal changes as identified by major international funding bodies.

This post is based at the Punggol campus of SIT in Singapore and from time to time, you may be required to work at a different campus. There is a requirement to visit the UK annually for induction and personal development activities as appropriate.
