This is an opportunity to build your skills while contributing to a global community of over 340,000 alumni and supporting work that has real impact.

About the role

As part of the Alumni Engagement team, you'll contribute to a wide range of activity that supports how we connect with alumni around the world, helping to shape how alumni experience and stay connected to Cambridge. This is a varied role where you'll work alongside colleagues to deliver both structured, detail-driven work and responsive, people-facing support.

Together with the team, you will:

  • Support responses to alumni enquiries and help provide a professional, welcoming experience for alumni and visitors
  • Balance a busy and varied workload, maintaining strong attention to detail even when handling interruptions
  • Contribute to maintaining and updating alumni data, including verification and system updates
  • Work across both methodical tasks (such as data processes and reporting) and real-time problem solving
  • Support the delivery of alumni services, benefits and accounts, working with colleagues to resolve queries
  • Get involved in wider team activity, including website updates and event support

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, is comfortable switching between tasks, and values being part of a supportive team.
