The Purpose of the Role:

Applications are welcome from legal scholars with internationally recognised research excellence in the field of public international law.  The postholder will be required to deliver core modules at undergraduate level in the area of public international law, to develop and deliver postgraduate modules, and to supervise students at undergraduate, masters and doctoral levels.  The successful candidate will be required to carry out administrative duties as directed by the Head of School and/or Head of Discipline and is expected to be research active. A key feature of this role is to provide leadership for the School’s LL.M. in International and Comparative Law programme and to drive the integration of public international law perspectives across the undergraduate curriculum.

Interviews and presentations for this competition will take place online the week beginning 22 June 2026.

Reports to: Head of School.
