Are you passionate about technology implementation, interdisciplinary research, and industry collaboration within the field of extended reality?

We invite you to join our section, Energy Technology and Computer Science, where you will work alongside approximately 25 colleagues with a mix of research and industrial experience. The section focuses on the convergence of three core domains—Energy, Computer Science, and Healthcare. We address two major societal challenges: strengthening the resilience of critical infrastructure, including the security and stability of energy systems and communication networks; and advancing social inclusion and reintegration by enabling equitable participation in society, education, and the workforce. This work is supported through accessible and assistive technologies, particularly for individuals affected by disability and illness.

  • Contribution to development of interdisciplinary courses integrating technology, design, and application domains

In this position, you will have the opportunity to further develop your skills across these areas, as well as other relevant fields. You will also contribute to the section’s research and development agenda through your professional experience and network.

  • Contribute to and take leadership at different stages of research and development projects
  • Teach and supervise in multiple BEng - and part-time diploma-programmes within the above-mentioned fields

You must be responsible for the teaching of courses. DTU employs two working languages: Danish and English. You are expected to be fluent in at least one of these languages, and in time are expected to master both.

As formal qualification you must hold a PhD degree (or equivalent) as well as academic qualifications equivalent to those obtained by holding an assistant professorship and documented didactic/pedagogic training.

You will be assessed against the responsibilities and qualifications stated above and the following general criteria:

  • Experience and quality of teaching
  • Research experience
