We are seeking to appoint a clinical psychologist to join our expanding highly regarded Doctorate in Clinical Psychology programme team based in the Department of Primary Care and Mental Health. You will be a member of the programme’s academic team and undertake a varied range of duties. You will have oversight of one of the three academic years, including being the direct contact for trainees within this cohort, relating to academic matters.

The post has an FTE of 0.6. Duties will include involvement in the development and evaluation of curriculum content relevant to the year group in which situated, including teaching and assessment through module convening and organising teaching. You will also act as personal tutor to some trainees, contribute to teaching and marking, conduct placement review visits, act as internal examiner for and be encouraged to supervise trainee research, and work with and support more junior staff members in the year in which you have oversight.

You will be a UK clinical psychologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council, with post qualification clinical experience. This will include supervision of trainee clinical psychologists as well as experience of teaching and training and contributing to the training of psychological professionals.
