You will play an important role in supporting projects that enhance services for disabled students through effective coordination, communication and administration.

Location: 2–3 Worcester Street, Oxford, OX1 2BX
Salary: Grade 5: £32,108 – £37,338 per annum pro rata (including Oxford University weighting)
Hours: Full time, 36.5 hours per week. Part-time working considered (minimum 29.2 hours / 0.8 FTE)
Contract: Fixed-term for 3 years until 31 July 2029. Due to the length of contract, this role is not available as an internal secondment.

About the Role

You will provide high-quality administrative and coordination support across a range of project activities that promote inclusive environments and address awarding gaps.

Working closely with the project manager and project leads, you will support collaboration across the collegiate University, including academic divisions, colleges and central services. You will coordinate activity, manage documentation and support effective communication with staff and students.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating meetings, events and project activity across multiple stakeholders
  • Drafting and managing correspondence, documentation and project materials
  • Supporting financial and administrative processes, including monitoring budgets and expenses
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with University procedures and data protection standards
  • Contributing to improvements in administrative systems and processes

About You

You will have:

  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience providing high-quality administrative support, including drafting correspondence
  • Good numeracy skills and experience with routine financial administration
  • Experience working within established procedures and improving processes
  • Strong IT skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
